  1. Art Institute of Chicago: Each year millions of tourists visit this beautiful art museum. This museum contains holdings from the American art, European art, Asian art and Modern art which make this museum a biggest center of attraction. Apart from the museum, it is also an art school which offers different educational programs for the students
  2. Lincoln Park Zoo: A 35-acre place has been given as the habitat of animals and named as Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. This zoo is one of the oldest zoos in the nation and is open 365 days a year. There is no entrance fee in this zoo. It is an attractive place for the animal lovers and children especially. This zoo is home to variety of wild creatures including big cats, polar bears, penguins, gorillas, reptiles, monkeys, and other species totaling nearly 1,250 animals. website

  1. World's Largest Catsup Bottle: Standing proud and majestic next to Route 59 in Collinsville, Illinois, this 170 feet tall water tower is one of the most visited attractions in Illinois. It was built in 1949 by the W.E Caldwell Company and was restored again in 1995 after attempts at demolishing it. In 2002 it was registered in America's National Register of Historic Places which is why this is one of the best roadside attractions that you should not miss.
  2. Lou Mitchell's Restaurant: Lou's has been a destination for presidents and prominent politicians on the campaign trail. It's also got some classic dishes, including meltaway pancakes, the skirt steak sandwich, and "the world's finest coffee."
